Although all yoga is potentially therapeutic and healing, Yoga Therapy is the specific application of yogic tools (poses, breathwork, meditation, self-reflection, and more) to address an individual’s physical, mental and emotional needs.

Hello! I’m Sara Hess, MS, C-IAYT, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP.

As a yoga therapist, I aim to help you better understand the connection between your body, mind, and spirit and empower you to improve your wellness.

I serve adolescents and adults experiencing various psychological and physical conditions, including trauma, depression, chronic pain, surgery recovery, and more.

My practice is evidence-based and rooted in scientific research, anatomy, biology, and yoga philosophy. I also have survived my own struggle with depression, trauma, and injuries, which have helped me to understand and trust my body, mind, and spirit. Through this, I have learned to listen to my body’s needs to remain healthy and happy. My desire is to share this knowledge, tailoring a unique program designed to meet the needs of each individual.
